NOTHING IS BEING, but being, dragging the existence by the endless wandering of Samsara. Being a human does not imply leading a human life understood as a life immersed in reality and reacting to it rationally. Like the one who having legs may or may not walk. Having legs and walking do not condition each other.
What they are mutually conditioned are consciousness and its nama-rupa interface. A consciousness to which the incoming information is distorted or that the physical means available to it are limited also limits its potential.
The conscience is not something in itself, is that set of conditions capable of processing information from its interface that leads it to evolve successively to another set of conditions. Death is a change of interface, and liberation occurs when this group becomes aware of itself and destroys what keeps it attached to existence.
Consciousness understood as something general is the evolution of states such that each is dependent on both the previous and new conditions. Time is the particular human perception of those changes in the set of conditions, which lead, therefore, to different consciousnesses, mistakenly understanding that there is continuity, something that «changes» when each state is truly different from the previous one, such as the frames from a movie.
Once all this has been established, it is evident that a human being who simplifies the information processes through conceptualization, what conditions him to live immersed is a particular reality of concepts with no way out. He literally lives locked in his language. That is, a human like that, is a zombie of his own culture.
If we add that what governs their behavior in their particular world of memes is their primitive limbic brain that is that little tyrant who, through chemical substances, rewards or punishes him according to whether or not he obtains sex or food, using all three basic answers: stays still (attachment), flees (aversion) or remains indifferent … what kind of «human» is that «thing»? Where is the rationality? Where are your senses that serve to recognize the world where you are, and not that world of words that your language dictates?
That bug, obviously, is invalidated to be aware of itself and where it is; alienated with ideas from others and reacting chemically. That bug is not human. It’s an alienated batrachian in a memetic sauce.
And now, the question …
What would you use to transform the batrachian into a human?
¿Ideas? Concepts? Teachings …?
Would you put more sauce on the bug?
Think about it.
